For so long, I had always thought, " Why would I blog?", but since March, when our son Daniel was born with Down Syndrome and a heart condition, I believe we have a good reason.There are so many people who have prayed for us and helped us, that I want to have a place where they can go and see what God has done and continues to do. There are others that I hope will receive a dose of encouragement.
I have tried to journal, but haven't had a lot of time for that, so over the next few months, I am going to create a memorial of the last year and God's faithfulness to our family. That's why I have called this blog Montejo's Memorials. Not only do we want to remember God's faithfulness to us, but we want to share it with others.
Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, the Lord gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who esteem His name. Malachi 3:16
